Ford also explains that service history can be checked through the Ford app, the Ford website or a printed service book for older vehicles. Ford Netherlands gives similar owner guidance and says availability can depend on the age of the car.

A Ford digital service history may include recorded service visits, maintenance dates, mileage readings, workshop entries, inspections, maintenance operations and service interval information. It may also show gaps in the available timeline. The level of detail can differ from one vehicle to another.

Availability depends on the model, production year, market, servicing location and digital registrations. A Ford serviced by an authorised Ford dealer may have records in one route, while a privately serviced vehicle may rely more on invoices. An imported Ford can have records from another country, but those records may not always be returned for a buyer’s request.

Use available Ford maintenance history as evidence, not as a complete promise.
