Many modern Porsche vehicles may have maintenance information recorded digitally. Porsche explains that digital maintenance history can be viewed in the My Porsche app for selected models and model years. It is described as a record of completed service actions, where available through the official Porsche route.

This does not mean that every Porsche has a complete digital service history. Older 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Panamera or classic Porsche vehicles may still rely on paper service books, invoices, Porsche Centre documents and specialist workshop records. For Porsche Classic vehicles, provenance and documentation can be especially important, but the evidence may be spread across paper files and previous owners.

Available Porsche service history may include service visits, maintenance dates, mileage readings, workshop entries, inspections, maintenance operations and service interval information. It may help show whether the car has been maintained consistently. It may also show gaps where no digital entry was returned for a period.

Availability depends on model, production year, market, servicing location and digital registrations. A Taycan, 992-generation 911 or newer Cayenne may have a different digital record profile from an older 997, 987 Cayman or imported Macan. Work done outside an authorised Porsche Centre may appear only if it was digitally recorded and included in the available returned data.

Use the report as one part of the evidence. Compare returned records with invoices, service book stamps, Porsche Centre documents, inspection reports, seller statements and the current vehicle condition. For electric Porsche vehicles, do not treat a maintenance history report as a battery health certificate.
